March into March is a wonderful opportunity to come together as a community and make a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. We are excited about our March into March fundraising campaign—a challenge that invites you to walk 31 miles in March, supporting the Olive Tree Cancer Support group along the way.

Why 31 Miles?

31 miles may sound like a lot, but together, we can achieve so much more than we can on our own. It's a symbolic journey, representing the strength and resilience of those affected by cancer—our members, their families, and all of us who support them. Just as each step you take brings you closer to your goal, every donation and every mile walked will bring us closer to our goal of raising funds to keep our doors open and our services running. We are self-funding, meaning we don’t receive large grants or government support. As a small, independent charity, the Olive Tree relies on the generosity of our community to continue providing crucial support to our members.

How Can You Participate?

It’s easy! Here’s how you can get involved:

1.      Sign up for the Challenge: Join the March into March campaign and set up your JustGiving page (we do have paper sponsorship forms too)

2.      Walk 31 Miles in March: Whether it’s a daily walk, a weekend hike, or a few longer walks throughout the month, aim to complete 31 miles by the end of the month. You can walk at your own pace, and every step counts!

3.      Fundraise for Olive Tree: Share your fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues. Ask them to support you as you walk! Every donation, big or small, helps us continue our vital work.

4.      Stay Connected: Throughout the month, we’ll share updates from our members. You can also share your own progress and photos with us on social media to inspire others.
