Olive Tree Cancer Support is an independent charity dedicated to supporting people affected by cancer, including patients, their families, friends and carers. We provide a caring, compassionate, and welcoming environment where people can find reassurance, understanding and practical support during one of the most challenging times of their lives.

Our Story

Our journey began in 1993 as a small monthly coffee morning, offering a safe place for people to come together and talk. More than 30 years later, Olive Tree Cancer Support has grown into a well-established and trusted local charity, operating from welcoming centres in both Crawley and Horsham. Throughout our growth, we have remained true to our original foundations of kindness, connection, and community.

Supporting You Through Cancer

Receiving a cancer diagnosis can feel overwhelming, emotional, and isolating. We are here to help from the point of diagnosis, through treatment and beyond. Our services focus on holistic wellbeing and are designed to complement medical care provided by the NHS. While we do not offer medical treatments or advice, we support the emotional, physical, and practical challenges that cancer can bring.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of free services to support wellbeing and quality of life, including:

• Information and guidance through our library and trusted partnerships
• Complementary therapies such as massage, reflexology, reiki, acupuncture, and meditation
• Counselling, coaching, and peer support groups
• Workshops, classes, and social activities that encourage connection, creativity, and relaxation
• Practical support including signposting to welfare and benefits advice, wig services, and informal social afternoons

A Safe and Supportive Place

Olive Tree Cancer Support is a calm, inclusive, and supportive space where people can rebuild confidence, reduce isolation and find hope. Our work is made possible through the dedication of our volunteers and professional practitioners, and through the generosity of our supporters. As a self-funded charity, we rely entirely on donations and fundraising to provide our services free of charge.
