We Need Volunteer Fundraisers!

The Olive Tree Cancer Centre is a small, independent, self-funded charity which has been providing a wide range of free support services to local people affected by cancer in Crawley and the surrounding area for over 25years.  We have now extended our services to Horsham and, as a result, need to increase our fundraising efforts to ensure that we can continue to provide our much needed and greatly appreciated services.  We need you!!

We already have fabulous volunteers who help us with fundraising, but we are very keen to recruit more members to our friendly, enthusiastic, and supportive team. Volunteer fundraisers can undertake a variety of roles based on their skills, experience, interests, and the amount of time that they are able to commit to fundraising.  

Volunteering for the Olive Tree is rewarding, interesting and fun! The Olive Tree is run almost entirely by volunteers, and you would become part of an incredibly supportive team.  You will have the opportunity to use your existing experience, develop additional skills and make new friends.

Some examples of fundraising include:

·        Attendance at local community events to raise awareness of, and funds for, the Olive Tree, for example, a collection at a Crawley Town football match.

·        Assistance with, and attending, fundraising events organised by the Olive Tree.

·        Researching potential sources of funding.
