Motown Night Poster

We are holding a fundraising Motown & Soul Night on Friday 23rd March at the Roffey Centre in Horsham from 7.30 to midnight.

It promises to be a great evening with top local DJ "the Audio Factory" playing the music and a bar with reasonably priced drinks.   There will also be a raffle with great prizes, some of which will have been provided by Coop Roffey who have chosen the Olive Tree as one of their local causes this year.  Tickets cost £10 per person and can be purchased at the Olive Tree and at Coop Roffey.  Please come and join us!

10 Things You Can Do To Support the Olive Tree in 2018

2018 is going to be an exciting year for the Olive Tree! We are continuing to expand the range of services that we have offered at the Olive Tree in Crawley for more than 25 years and, in 2018, we are opening a new Olive Tree centre in Horsham.  In order to ensure that both centres can continue to support local people affected by cancer we need your help.  There are lots of ways that you can help, from simply spreading the word about the Olive Tree, through volunteering at the Olive Tree to fundraising for us.  Fundraising can be as simple and painless as shopping at one of the Coop stores that has chosen the Olive Tree as their local cause to something as challenging as running a sponsored marathon!  There are plenty of other ways that you can support us too, please click here to go to our January newsletter which lists ten suggestions.  Thank  you!

Wig Service at the Olive Tree

Hair loss is one of the most visible and upsetting side effects of cancer treatment and good wigs can be very expensive. At the Olive Tree we have a huge range of donated wigs available free of charge (donations are gratefully received). We also have new scarves and hats which are available to purchase. Wigs, hats and scarves can be tried on in privacy.

Please note that we cannot currently accept any more wigs as, thanks to the generosity and kindness of so many people donating wigs, we have run out of storage space!

Coop Local Community Fund - a great way to support the Olive Tree at no extra cost to you!

The Olive Tree has been chosen as a local cause by the following three business in the Horsham area:-

North Parade (Food), RH12 2DH, Roffey (Food), RH13 6AA and Horsham (East Street) Funeralcare, RH12 1HL

If you register as a Coop member and choose the Olive Tree as your local cause, then 1% of everything you spend on Coop own brand goods and services will be donated to the Olive Tree.  Please visit the Coop website to register as a Coop member, select the Olive Tree as your local cause and then enjoy shopping at the Coop.  Please also encourage your friends, family, colleagues and neighbours to sign up too; it costs nothing and will generate much-needed funds for the Olive Tree.  Thank you!
